How does the project awarding system work?

Once a Quote has been accepted by a customer on Cutr, we generate an Offer and share that with our network of production partners. Offers for orders are sent out in batches, and partners typically have 24 hours* to engage with the order. This should provide enough time to review the offer and ask any clarifying questions to our team. To help you plan better, we distribute offers for the orders at 9am cet, unless the order has urgency, so you know exactly when to log into the Cutr platform to view available offers.

How does it work?

We classify our network of production partners into different groups based on their activity level and performance rating. This classification determines the order in which partners see new orders on Cutr. At a predetermined time, each group receives available orders via email or directly on our platform.

Important to know:

  • Orders are distributed daily, but we match orders with partners based on the order type and requirements. It is likely that your criteria will not match with every order - so you might not see orders daily on Cutr.

  • You have 24 hours to accept or decline a received offer. This ensures fast turnaround times and efficient allocation.

Assignment Process

The assignment of orders follows a specific hierarchy:

  1. If you are the only partner who has accepted the offer, it is directly assigned to you.

  2. If multiple interested partners exist, preference is given to the partner with the highest performance rating with Cutr or the best history of completed orders (on and off the Cutr platform).

  3. If none of the partners accept the offer, it is moved to the next group, where the process repeats.

What you need to know

  • The system aims to promote transparency and fairness, rewarding your commitment and quality.

  • Continuity and expectation management are central. This system helps you plan your day better, knowing when you can expect assignments.

FAQ

What does it mean to be placed in a certain group?

Your group number determines when you get access to a new project. Partners in group 1 see the projects first. If no one from this group accepts the offer, it is made available to group 2, and so forth. This means there's a chance an offer is accepted before it reaches your group, depending on the response from earlier groups. Your placement in a group reflects your current rating and activity, thereby providing direct feedback on your performance.
