If your payouts in Stripe are set to manual, the amount will first stay on your Stripe balance. You then need to click “Payout” in Stripe yourself to transfer the balance to your bank account.

If you want Stripe to pay out automatically, without having to do anything each time, follow these steps to set up automatic payouts:

  1. Log in to Stripe

  2. Go to Settings

    • Click the ⚙️ icon in the top right and select Settings.

  3. Go to Business

    • In the settings menu, click Business.

  4. Open Bank accounts and currencies

    • In the left or middle menu, select Bank accounts and currencies.

  5. Go to Payouts / Payout schedule

    • On this page you can manage your payout settings.

    • Look for the section Payouts or Payout schedule.

  6. Switch from manual to automatic

    • Change the schedule from Manual to Automatic – Daily
(or another automatic option, such as weekly or monthly).

    • Save your changes.

  7. Done

    • From now on, Stripe will make automatic payouts to your bank account as soon as the balance is available (taking into account Stripe’s standard payout delay).

If you don’t see an option for the payout schedule:

  • Check that you’re logged into the correct Stripe account, and

  • That your bank account and all verification details are fully completed and approved.
